Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments of goods and materials to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Assist in the accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Support inventory management activities, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate records of inventory levels.
- Learn to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently under the supervision of trained personnel.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse facility.
- Learn and adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
- Assist in conducting periodic inventory audits to reconcile physical inventory counts with system records and identify discrepancies.
- Learn to use warehouse management software systems to track inventory movements, update inventory records, and generate reports as needed.
- Participate in training programs and on-the-job learning opportunities to develop knowledge and skills relevant to warehouse operations.
