Job Description
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our marketing team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the company's vision and is suitable for broadcasting across multiple platforms. You will work closely with our marketing and content creation teams to ensure that our video content effectively communicates our brand and engages our target audience.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting.
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video.
- Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects as needed.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final video.
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the content creation team to understand project requirements and deliver results that align with the company's goals.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new ideas and strategies for effective video content.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop).
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
- Creative mind and storytelling skills.
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Media Production, or related field.
- Experience in motion graphics and animation.
- Knowledge of color grading and audio mixing techniques.
