VMC Programming: • Expertise in DEL CAM, MASTER CAM, and FF CAM software for VMC programming. • Develop and optimize VMC programs for efficient machining operations. 2. Wire cut Programming: • Proficiency in PEPSCAM, OPTICAM, and FIKUS software for Wire cut programming. • Create and refine Wire cut programs for precision machining. 3. Tool Design & Software: • Strong background in tool drawing using AutoCAD, Unigraphics, and Solidworks. • Design and modify tools, dies, moulds, fixtures, gauges, and blisters. 4. Machining & Inventory Management: • Oversee machining operations, ensuring proper utilization of machinery. • Reduce losses, maintain inventory, and manage spares effectively. • Guide programmers and operators to enhance productivity and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). 5. Coordination & Support: • Coordinate with the Tool Design (TD) section, fitting section, and conventional section. • Support their requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Skills Required: • In-depth understanding of fits, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T). • Familiarity with 5S, safety protocols, Kaizen, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and documentation practices. • Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor team members. • Focused on continuous improvement, quality assurance, time management, and cost optimization.
Job Description

- Oversee the designing and development of tools in the machining section of the tool room
- Manage a team of skilled technicians to ensure precision measurement of tools
- Coordinate with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of tools to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with engineers and other departments to improve tooling processes
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures in tool room operations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in tool room operations
- Provide training and guidance to staff on new tooling techniques and equipment
- Keep abreast of industry trends and technologies in tool design and machining processes
- Assist the Tool Room Manager in strategic planning and decision-making for the tool room.
