Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of stockyard workers
- Maintain inventory accuracy by overseeing incoming and outgoing shipments
- Ensure stockyard operations comply with safety and security regulations
- Handle scheduling, training, and performance evaluations of staff
- Manage equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure efficiency
- Develop and implement efficient stockyard layout and organization
- Monitor and report on stock levels and usage to management
- Collaborate with purchasing and sales departments to meet stockyard goals
- Resolve issues and conflicts among stockyard workers
- Implement improvements to streamline stockyard processes and increase productivity.
