Job Description
- Manage the procurement process for all materials and services needed for the company's operations
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and terms
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet production schedules
- Monitor and track inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excessive inventory
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements
- Keep abreast of market trends and supplier capabilities to identify new opportunities for cost savings
- Oversee the procurement team and provide guidance and support as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions and activities
