Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
Schedule and conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and parts replacement, to prevent breakdowns.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in machinery and equipment.
Repair or replace faulty components to restore machines to optimal working condition.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify the root cause of malfunctions.
Monitor machine performance and condition using various sensors, meters, and gauges.
Keep detailed records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with experience in hydraulic power packs and pneumatic machines.
Proficiency in arc welding, cutting, grinding, and machine modification.
Familiarity with gearbox maintenance and repair.
Ability to handle preventive and breakdown maintenance independently.
Experience in handling machinery such as dough mixers, conveyor systems, and rotary equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective communication skills and the ability to document maintenance activities.

Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience in maintenance planning and project management.
Need atleast 5 years of experience.
Familiarity with PLC systems and controls.
Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial environment.
