The Geologist will be responsible for studying the earth's processes, materials, and structures to understand its history and predict future geological events. They will conduct fieldwork, collect samples, and analyze data to make interpretations and recommendations. The Geologist will also assess geological risks, provide expert advice on land use planning, and support natural resource exploration and extraction projects. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Job Description

- Conduct field investigations to collect samples and analyze geological data
- Interpret and analyze data to identify geological formations, structures, and resources
- Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other professionals on projects
- Prepare reports, maps, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Use specialized software and equipment to model and visualize geological data
- Monitor and assess potential environmental impacts of geological activities
- Conduct research to stay current on advancements in the field of geology
- Travel to various locations to conduct fieldwork and site evaluations
- Comply with safety regulations and protocols while working in field and laboratory settings
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
