The Fleet Officer at GVK EMRI is responsible for managing the organization's fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are properly maintained and in compliance with all regulations. The role involves overseeing the scheduling and allocation of vehicles, coordinating vehicle inspections and maintenance, and managing driver performance. The Fleet Officer will also be responsible for tracking vehicle usage and expenses, analyzing data to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for this role. Additionally, the Fleet Officer will need to have strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team of drivers and mechanics.

Job Description

- Responsible for overseeing and managing all fleet operations
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet efficiency
- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Monitor and track fleet performance
- Manage fuel usage and cost
- Supervise fleet drivers and support staff
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Evaluate and recommend fleet upgrades or replacements
- Collaborate with other departments to meet operational needs
