GVK Emergency Management and Research Institute (GVK EMRI) is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee all financial activities of the organization. The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to ensure the financial sustainability of the organization. They will also be responsible for financial reporting, including preparing financial statements and monitoring financial performance. The Finance Manager will work closely with other departments to support decision-making and drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and financial management, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They should also have experience in financial planning and budgeting, as well as the ability to communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders. A CPA or CFA certification is preferred.
Job Description

- Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational goals
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance, providing regular reports to senior management
- Manage cash flow and effectively contribute to financial decision-making
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Supervise a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Stay current on financial trends and best practices in the field
- Serve as a key liaison with external auditors and financial institutions.
