Job Description
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand product requirements
- Develop detailed design specifications for new products or product improvements
- Create 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software
- Evaluate designs for manufacturability and suggest improvements
- Conduct simulations and tests to validate design concepts
- Work closely with manufacturers to ensure designs are optimized for production
- Stay current with industry trends and new technologies to continually improve design processes
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project deadlines are met
- Provide technical support during the production phase
- Assist with product launch and post-launch activities to ensure product success.
