Role Overview:
We are seeking a Contract Specialist with proven experience working for U.S. companies. This role is pivotal in ensuring contracts are legally sound, effectively managed, and aligned with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain standardized contract templates and forms to streamline the contract management process.
- Manage and organize a centralized contract database to ensure efficient tracking, storage, and compliance.
- Review and analyze contracts to ensure alignment with company goals, legal standards, and industry regulations, including familiarity with U.S. compliance frameworks such as FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation).
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to verify compliance with contract terms and obligations.
- Collaborate with internal teams—Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Operations—to ensure contract terms align with organizational goals.
- Negotiate favorable contract terms with external stakeholders, including vendors and clients, while keeping internal stakeholders informed.
- Monitor and manage contract deliverables, payments, and obligations, ensuring successful contract closure.
- Prepare reports for senior management on contract status, risks, and performance metrics.
- Support special projects and initiatives related to contract management and optimization.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on contract policies, procedures, and best practices.
