Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for enthusiastic Academic Counselors to join our growing remote team. In this role, you will guide students through program selection, answer their queries, and assist with admissions. During the probation period, you will generate your own leads, and after achieving set targets, the company will provide leads for future enrollments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate Leads: Identify and connect with prospective students.
  • Student Guidance: Assist students in selecting suitable programs based on their academic background and career goals.
  • Enrollment Support: Facilitate the enrollment process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Counseling Sessions: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand student needs and provide tailored advice.
  • Follow-Up: Maintain regular communication with prospective and enrolled students to address concerns and provide updates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development Executives (BDEs) and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student interactions and enrollment status. Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from students to improve counseling services and student experience.

Compensation and Benefits

No fixed salary: the role is entirely performance- based
Probation Period: First 3 months will be a probation period.
Target: Achieve 5 admissions per month during and 10 after the probation period.
Lead Provision:
During probation: You are required to generate your own leads.
Post-probation: Upon achieving the target, the company will provide leads for future enrollments,
A SIM card, Recharge and Internet bill coverage, Access to all other AMRI Foundation Initiatives

  • Degree/PG Enrollment: ₹2,000 per enrollment
  • Open School Enrollment: ₹3,000 per enrollment
  • Credit Transfer Enrollment: ₹3,500 per enrollment
  • B.Ed. or M.Ed. Enrollment: ₹4,500 per enrollment

Total potential salary in an ideal scenario is ₹21,000 with incentives for additional enrollments.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualification: Completion of Plus Two (12th grade) or higher.
  • Previous experience in team management, sales, or academic coordination.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to meet team-based targets.
  • Self-driven and comfortable with remote work dynamics.

Skills Required:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Ability to convince and convert leads into enrollments.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Build strong relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Time Management: Manage tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Address student queries and challenges proactively.
