The HR Associate at Archives organization will be responsible for providing support in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations. This role will involve assisting with job postings, coordinating interviews, conducting orientations, and maintaining employee files. The HR Associate will also help in organizing and implementing HR policies and procedures, as well as ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Additionally, this role will involve handling employee inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. A degree in HR or related field and previous experience in HR administration are preferred.
Job Description

- Assist HR Manager in recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews
- Communicate with potential candidates to schedule interviews and provide necessary information
- Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
- Conduct background checks and reference checks on potential candidates
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing paperwork and conducting orientations
- Assist with employee relations issues, including resolving conflicts and mediating disputes
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Provide support in performance management processes, including conducting evaluations and providing feedback
- Assist in organizing and conducting training sessions for employees
- Stay up-to-date on HR best practices and employment laws to ensure compliance within the organization.
