Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:
Supervise daily production activities of steel shots and grits.
Ensure adherence to production schedules and efficiency targets.
Work closely with the production team to optimize processes and minimize wastage.
Troubleshoot issues in production and ensure minimal downtime.
Quality Control:
Maintain high-quality standards in steel shots and grits production.
Monitor quality control measures and conduct regular checks.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Implement quality improvement initiatives.
Inventory and Logistics:
Oversee inventory management and ensure the availability of raw materials and finished products.
Manage the supply chain, including procurement, storage, and dispatch of steel shots and grits.
Coordinate with logistics teams for timely delivery of products to clients.
Client Relations and Sales Support:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Assist the sales team with technical knowledge and product information during client meetings.
Work on quotations, negotiations, and contracts with clients.
Address client complaints or issues and ensure timely resolution.
Team Management:
Lead and manage the production team, ensuring proper training and development.
Monitor team performance and encourage a culture of safety, accountability, and productivity.
Coordinate with HR for recruitment, training, and performance appraisals of production staff.
Health, Safety, and Compliance:
Ensure that safety protocols are strictly followed on the production floor.
Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Promote a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
Reporting:
Prepare and present regular production and quality reports to senior management.
Analyze production metrics and recommend improvements.
