Job Description

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing the business of a territory. You will work to acquire new

customers (academic institutions); retain existing customers and engage with channel

partners. You will engage with both schools and learners to drive the business goals.

Scope of the Role

1. Customer acquisition: Own a territory and acquire customers.

2. Customer Retention and Upgrade: Retain existing customers and upgrade the value

of business within the portfolio.

3. Marketing and Activation: Organize and execute various marketing and learner

activation activities in your territory

4. Channel Development- Identify, develop and manage channel partners who can

generate new business or influence sales.

5. Collection: Collect money due from customers and channel partners on time.

6. Customer Relationship: Build, develop and deepen relationships with customers.

Communicate with and visit signed-up customers regularly.

7. Coordination: Plan and coordinate internally with operations, academic delivery, and

marketing teams to ensure complete and efficient program implementation at the

customer campuses.

8. Customer Satisfaction and problem-solving– Be transparent in sharing the feedback

of the customers and proactively resolve issues or queries of customers on time.

Monitor and share the progress of the program implementation, take feedback,

understand issues they are facing and ensure resolution of the same.

9. Documentation: Complete all documentation regarding school sign-up, collect the

advance amount as per company policy and engage the schools as per the need.

10. Reporting: Keep all reporting formats, CRM, documentation etc. updated on a day-to

day basis

11. It’s a high-energy job which requires you to spend 100% of your time in the field in a

6 days a week working environment.

Qualifications & Experience

1. A graduate from any stream

2. An MBA/PGDBM degree is preferable but not mandatory

3. 2-8 years of B2B selling experience

pass on the feedback to the service/ product team immediately for action and ensure

the problem resolution.

the market and/ or customer need.

5. Work ethic- A self-starter and comprehensive approach to doing things.

6. Ownership- Should own agreed goals and achieve them even when faced with

obstacles. Should be focused on controllable variables, not on uncontrollable

variables.

7. Comfortable travelling in the city and across cities.

Skills

1. Ability to sell a concept in a B2B environment.

2. Strong negotiation and closing skills.

3. Collection of receivables- Should be able to collect the receivables from the

customers based on agreed terms

4. Process orientation- Should follow the process and ensure delivery, service, etc are

planned and executed as per the process.

5. Problem-Solving Skills- Should be able to identify roadblocks and find ways to

navigate them.

6. Planning and Monitoring- Should be able to make daily, weekly and monthly plans

and ensure adherence to the same.

7. Reporting-timely reporting of daily activities and business

8. Interpersonal skills and communication- Excellent communication and ability to build

rapport and communicate concepts and company policies in a polite, persuasive and

assertive manner.

9. Presentation Skills- Should be able to present concepts, and product demos to an

audience in a persuasive manner.
