NJ technology is seeking a dedicated Academic Advisor to join our team. The Academic Advisor will provide comprehensive academic advising services to students, helping them navigate their academic goals, course selection, and degree requirements. Responsibilities include conducting individual advising sessions, facilitating group advising workshops, and developing academic success plans for students. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of higher education policies and procedures, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to student success. A background in advising, counseling, or education is preferred. Job Description

- Provide academic advising and support services to undergraduate students in the NJ Technology program
- Assist students in developing educational plans and setting academic goals
- Keep accurate records of student progress and graduation requirements
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure student success and retention
- Coordinate outreach initiatives to engage students in academic advisory services
- Stay current on university policies, degree requirements, and academic programs
- Host workshops and information sessions related to academic advising and student success
- Serve as a resource for students seeking guidance on study skills, time management, and academic challenges
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance advising skills and knowledge
- Demonstrate a commitment to fostering student success and promoting a positive academic experience

Salary: 5.5 LPA, Incentive
