Python Developer with AWS Amplify
We are looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented Python Developer with AWS Amplify to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing our digital advertising campaigns to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Role Overview:
As a Python Developer with AWS Amplify expertise, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web and mobile applications that leverage AWS Amplify's serverless capabilities. You will work with cross-functional teams to create scalable and responsive applications that deliver a seamless user experience while taking advantage of AWS Amplify's features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Develop web and mobile applications using Python as the primary programming language and integrate AWS Amplify services to enable serverless architecture.
- AWS Amplify Integration: Utilize AWS Amplify to manage the backend services, authentication, and data storage for applications. Configure Amplify CLI, set up AWS resources, and establish GraphQL APIs.
- Frontend Development: Work on the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) components of applications, ensuring they are responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly.
- Serverless Architecture: Implement serverless functions, APIs, and data storage using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, AWS AppSync, and Amazon DynamoDB.
- Authentication and Authorization: Implement user authentication and authorization features using AWS Cognito or other identity and access management solutions.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment on AWS Amplify, ensuring a smooth development workflow.
- Code Optimization: Optimize code for performance and scalability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks as needed.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in the application, as well as performance-related problems.
- Security: Ensure the security of applications by implementing AWS security best practices and mitigating potential security vulnerabilities.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, including architecture, code, and deployment procedures.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest AWS Amplify and Python developments, as well as best practices in cloud-native application development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with AWS Amplify, including configuring and managing backend services.
- Familiarity with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and Cognito.
- Knowledge of GraphQL and RESTful API design.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies (e.g., React, React Native, or other relevant frameworks).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer) are a plus.
