Job Description
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Handling procurement required for Production and R&D products
- Handling Import Shipments and Custom Clearance Process
- Consolidation of BOMs
- Requesting Quotes from Multiple Vendors
- Sorting the Quotes according to Lowest prices
- Generating PO and making Payments
- Checking Inward material with ordered PO if any Shortage quantities received
- Reviewing Defective components and Processing it for refund/replacement
- Ordering samples and Getting Feedback from R&D for production Lot
- Entry of all the procurement invoices in tally with Accounts department
- Ordering Shortage Components on Urgent Basis
- Finalizing BOM pricing for new Products
- Generating Production File and Forwarding to Production Department for Stencils
- Planning for production lots on basis on Sales PO
- Submitting BOE to Banks
- Making procurements based reports
- Coordinating with R&D team for any design changes while reordering
- Establishing Meetings with new suppliers and requesting for samples and quotation
- Sharing the lead time/transit time with Store & Production Department for parts so that they can plan production accordingly
- Preparing documents for Foreign Payments and coordinating with bank team.
