Area Sales Manager Job Opening for in Ahmedabad .
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize market penetration in India.
Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive activities.
Set sales objectives, establish sales forecasts, and develop action plans to drive sales growth.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across different regions in India.
Provide guidance and support to the sales team, including setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
Customer Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including OEMs, EPC contractors, distributors, and end-users.
Understand customer needs, address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide appropriate solutions.
Conduct regular customer visits and presentations to promote products, negotiate contracts, and secure long-term partnerships.
Sales and Business Development:
Drive sales activities to meet revenue targets and expand market share.
Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential customers for valves products.
Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions to showcase
products and generate leads.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed business decisions.
Prepare sales forecasts, sales reports, and other relevant documentation for management review.
Monitor sales performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective measures as needed.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate with internal departments, such as engineering, operations, and marketing, to ensure timely product delivery, resolve customer issues, and support marketing initiatives.
Coordinate with distribution partners, dealers, and agents to drive sales and enhance distribution network effectiveness.
Industry and Market Knowledge:
Stay updated on industry developments, market trends, Competition and emerging technologies related to valves.
Provide market intelligence and insights to the management team to support business decision-making.
