Job Description

As a Training Manager, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees within the organization. You will collaborate with various departments to identify training needs, develop effective sales training materials, and implement programs that align with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Needs Analysis:

   - Conduct regular assessments to identify training needs within the organization.

   - Collaborate with department heads and HR to understand specific skill gaps and development requirements.

2. Training Program Development:

   - Design and develop training programs that address identified needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

   - Create engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, manuals, and multimedia content.

3. Training Delivery:

   - Facilitate training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques, such as lectures, group discussions, and hands-on activities.

   - Utilize technology and e-learning platforms to deliver virtual training sessions as needed.

4. Employee Onboarding:

   - Develop and implement onboarding programs for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.

 

5. Evaluation and Feedback:

   - Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs.

   - Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve and update training content.

6. Collaboration:

   - Work closely with department managers to understand their teams' specific training needs and goals.

   - Collaborate with external training providers, if necessary, to supplement internal training programs.

7. Budget Management:

   - Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of programs.

   - Evaluate and select external training vendors when required.

8. Compliance and Documentation:

   - Ensure that all training programs comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

   - Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee progress.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field.

- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs.

- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and technology-based training methods.

Preferred Skills:

- Certification in Training and Development (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance - CPLP).

- Experience with learning management systems (LMS).

- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
