Key Responsibilities:
- Production Management:
- Supervise daily production activities of steel shots and grits.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and efficiency targets.
- Work closely with the production team to optimize processes and minimize wastage.
- Troubleshoot issues in production and ensure minimal downtime.
- Quality Control:
- Maintain high-quality standards in steel shots and grits production.
- Monitor quality control measures and conduct regular checks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Inventory and Logistics:
- Oversee inventory management and ensure the availability of raw materials and finished products.
- Manage the supply chain, including procurement, storage, and dispatch of steel shots and grits.
- Coordinate with logistics teams for timely delivery of products to clients.
- Client Relations and Sales Support:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Assist the sales team with technical knowledge and product information during client meetings.
- Work on quotations, negotiations, and contracts with clients.
- Address client complaints or issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage the production team, ensuring proper training and development.
- Monitor team performance and encourage a culture of safety, accountability, and productivity.
- Coordinate with HR for recruitment, training, and performance appraisals of production staff.
- Health, Safety, and Compliance:
- Ensure that safety protocols are strictly followed on the production floor.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Promote a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular production and quality reports to senior management.
- Analyze production metrics and recommend improvements.
