Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Build end-to-end data integration solutions within a Azure cloud environment
- Establish ETL processes to implement business intelligence models and reports
- Enable our e-commerce initiative by fueling product data to and performance insights from online platforms
- Identify and provide required data assets to our software development teams to fuel data driven applications
- Connect sources and build data pipelines feeding into our DWH to support employees in building BI reports
- Work on a broad variety of digital technology projects (including Industry 4.0, Robotic Process Automation, etc.)
- Enable and operationally guide local team members to deliver project results in quality, time and budget
- International collaboration and daily alignment with colleagues around the globe
Experience:
- 4-6 years of practical experience as a full-time data engineer or business intelligence developer in a fast- paced environment
- Prior work as part of an agile and interdisciplinary team within a startup or an international corporate
Mandatory Capabilities:
- Fluent programming in Python, SQL and Bash
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience with Apache Flink
- Experience with Apache Spark
- Profound know how in various database technologies (e.g. SQL, NOSQL, JSON, etc.)
- Deep practical understanding of Git and CICD concepts and functionalities Experience with process management tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, etc.)
- Good communication skills
- Touchpoints with Agile Project Management methods (e.g. SCRUM)
- Experience in functional team leadership
- Fluent in English
Beneficial Capabilities:
- Programming experience in Py Spark and/or Scala
- Experience with Telemetry data and IoT
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory and/or Azure Synapse
- Familiarity with Big Data Technologies (e.g. Data Stream Processing)
- Hands-on acquaintances with RestAPIs
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Scrum Master Certification
- Background:
- Computer science-related studies
- MBA or MSc preferred but not mandatory
- International experience
