Sales Support Specialist – Bid Management   We are now strengthening our Global Sales Support team in their operations center in Bangalore with a Sales Support Specialist – Bid Management for Energy Sector covering Offshore, FPSO, Offshore Wind, Subsea, Onshore pipeline and terminals, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Refineries and Power & Water Automation. We need a team player on an individual contributor role with a high level of self-competence and the drive to promote innovation and improvement with Adaptive Execution methodology concepts. Qualifications: BE /B Tech (Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication /Instrumentation & Control) Your responsibilities • Preparation of technical/commercial greenfield solution offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Business Unit and Sales organization directives. • Be the single interface towards customer / Local Divisions and ensure timely and proactive communication • Responsible for the bid during the whole sales phase, from lead until winning the order. • Set up and collaboration with ABB group functions, such as Legal, Finance, Taxes, and Insurance. • Use experience and understanding to add to the Bid plans and decision making along as the tendering process evolves • Coordinate with procurement team and maintain support from internal and third- party suppliers • Analyze project proposals cost plans and prepare for risk review • Defines cost for the proposed solution and communicates to Sales organization. • Prepare win/loss analysis for the bids prepared. • Bid Process compliance • Deliver high quality bid documentation meeting bid timelines. Formal requirements Engineering degree with the following experience. • Minimum 12 years’ experience in bidding / Tendering for Automation (DCS /PLC/Safety PLC/Power Management Systems) solutions including cybersecurity for energy industries. • Experience in handling MAC / Turnkey bids would be an added advantage. • Experience from engineering and project execution is an advantage. • Knowledge about market requirements and standards within the industry is positive. • Knowledge of ABB automation products like 800xA / Symphony Plus will have advantage Personal Qualities Strong Communication skills & Interpersonal skills Structured and quality minded Team spirit and team oriented Hunger to create value for ABB   Language skills: Fluent English.
