The Purchase Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and procuring goods and services for the company. They will be required to negotiate with suppliers, compare prices, analyze market trends, and make recommendations for purchasing decisions. The Purchase Executive will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of purchases, monitoring inventory levels, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement and supply chain management, with a focus on cost reduction and vendor management. A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or a related field is typically required for this position.

Job Description

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support business objectives
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and terms
- Evaluate vendor performance and maintain relationships with key suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan orders
- Analyze market trends and identify potential new suppliers
- Manage and track purchase orders and invoices
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with deliveries or invoices
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory requirements
