Job Description
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations of the manufacturing plant, including production schedules, workflow, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and minimize down time.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and address any maintenance issues promptly.
Train and supervise plant staff to ensure adherence to standard operating proceduresand quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot technical issues and implement improvements.
Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to meet production demands.
Implement and maintain quality control measures to uphold product quality and consistency.
Prepare and analyze production reports to track performance metrics and identifyareas for improvement.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among plant personnel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Agriculture is preferred.
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong technical knowledge of machinery and plant operations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
