Job Description
- Oversee team of packing assistants to ensure all orders are prepared and shipped accurately and on time
- Train new employees on packing procedures and quality control standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate teams
- Collaborate with warehouse managers to optimize packing processes and improve efficiency
- Conduct regular checks on packing equipment to ensure proper function and maintenance
- Implement safety procedures and guidelines to reduce risk of accidents or injuries in the packing area
- Communicate with shipping department to ensure orders are packed according to shipping requirements
- Assist with resolving customer complaints related to packing errors or damages
- Ensure packing area is organized and clean to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Assist packing team with daily tasks as needed to meet production goals and deadlines
