Job Description
- Manage and coordinate production planning activities to ensure efficient and timely execution of manufacturing operations
- Develop and implement production planning schedules to optimize resource utilization and maximize production output
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and mitigate production risks
- Monitor production progress and address any issues or delays to minimize disruptions to production schedules
- Lead and mentor production planning team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in production planning to drive innovation and efficiency in operations.
