Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
- Schedule and conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and parts replacement, to prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in machinery and equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty components to restore machines to optimal working condition.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify the root cause of malfunctions.
- Monitor machine performance and condition using various sensors, meters, and gauges.
- Keep detailed records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with experience in hydraulic power packs and pneumatic machines.
- Proficiency in arc welding, cutting, grinding, and machine modification.
- Familiarity with gearbox maintenance and repair.
- Ability to handle preventive and breakdown maintenance independently.
- Experience in handling machinery such as dough mixers, conveyor systems, and rotary equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to document maintenance activities.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience in maintenance planning and project management.
- Need atleast 5 years of experience.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and controls.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial environment.
