Role Overview

JumpQ is seeking a Junior Machine Learning Engineer who has hands-on experience with Python, OpenAI prompts, model tuning, and working on AI-driven products such as chatbots and sentiment analysis. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic individual eager to make an impact in the fintech space and work on cutting-edge machine learning models that help homebuyers on their journey to ownership.
As a Junior MLE, you will contribute to building, deploying, and enhancing AI-driven systems that empower users, including chatbots and sentiment analysis tools that improve the user experience on our platform.

Key Responsibilities

1.Develop, train, and fine-tune machine learning models to improve chatbot functionality, automate processes, and enhance sentiment analysis capabilities.
2.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning algorithms into JumpQ’s fintech platform.
3.Optimize and deploy models for production environments to ensure they scale and run efficiently.
Work with Python and other tools to implement and improve AI models, specifically focusing on natural language processing (NLP).
4.Collaborate with product teams to design and test new features for AI-driven solutions.
5.Maintain and update models and systems, ensuring they stay relevant and effective in real-world applications.
6.Provide data-driven insights and recommend improvements based on model performance and user feedback.
Keep up with the latest trends and advancements in machine learning, AI, and fintech.

Requirements

1.Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning, especially in model tuning, chatbot development, and sentiment analysis.
2.Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, with a strong understanding of libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, sci-kit-learn, and OpenAI tools.
3.AI/ML Tools: Experience in working with NLP models (e.g., OpenAI GPT models) and using them for real-world applications like chatbots or text analysis.
4.Model Tuning: Strong skills in tuning machine learning models to optimize performance and accuracy.
5.Problem-Solving: Ability to approach problems with a solution-oriented mindset and implement machine learning models that solve business challenges.
6.Collaboration: Excellent teamwork skills, working with cross-functional teams to bring machine learning models into production.
7.Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience in fintech, real estate, or similar industries.
-Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools like Docker.
-Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
-Exposure to advanced topics in machine learning, such as reinforcement learning or deep learning.
