Role & responsibilities:
- Responsible for networking, design, installation and maintenance services.
- Supporting users and network administrators over the telephone and by email.
- Maintain the companys network infrastructure.
- Networking and providing support for Windows issues.
- Configuration and testing of any new hardware and software.
- TCP/IP networking and hardware maintenance and repair.
- Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express configuration, backup, troubleshooting.
- Installation & Configuration of Network printers & Scanner and its basic level of troubleshooting.
- Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptop.
- Ensure all logs for equipment and users are maintained
- Hardware Setup of Server and Network Equipment
- Coordination with Vendor and Concern Team for Issues
- Fault-finding to core servers Hardware on site
- Windows 7/Win2K3 server/Win2012 server OS installation and Level two troubleshooting
- PC hardware troubleshooting
- Knowledge of SQL server/Query Language (Visual Basic preferred).
- Sound Knowledge of Windows server operating system and Windows 7
- Installation and configuration of IIS and troubleshooting
- POS and supporting application management preferred
- Diagnosing the problem and getting it resolved as per the severity level assigned
- Second level diagnosis and resolution of network related issues LAN and WAN
- Installation and updating of antivirus
