Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support: Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and coordinatingthe hiring process.
  • Onboarding and Orientation: Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing new employee paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and assisting with the completionof required forms and documents.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records,both physical and electronic, including personnel files, HR databases, and payroll systems.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits administration tasks, such as enrolling employees in benefit programs, processing changes to employee benefits, and addressing employee inquiries regarding benefits.
     
  • Payroll Assistance: Support payroll processing activities, including data entry, verifying timesheets, processing payroll changes, and addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance withlegal requirements and organizational standards.
     
  • Employee Relations Support: Provide support in handling employee relations matters, including investigating employee complaints or grievances, and assisting in resolving conflictsor disputes.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training and development activities, including scheduling training sessions, tracking attendance, and maintaining training records.
     
  • HR Reporting: Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics, including turnover rates, headcount reports, and other HR-related analytics for management review.
     
  • Compliance Assistance: Support HR compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to laborlaws, regulations, and company policies, and assisting with audits and compliance-relatedactivities as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relatedfield is preferred. Relevant coursework or certifications in HR may be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of HR Practices: Basic understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, andcompliance.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record- keeping,and administrative tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with theability to communicate professionally and confidentiality with employees, managers, and external parties.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability toprioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-pacedenvironment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establishtrust, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at alllevels.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion andmaintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Basic problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues,gather relevant information, and propose solutions or escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Proficiency in HR Software: Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources InformationSystems) and other HR software applications is beneficial. Willingness to learn andadapt tonew technology platforms as needed.
