Responsibilities include conducting electrocardiograms (EKGs), stress tests, echocardiograms, and Holter monitoring, as well as assisting cardiologists during procedures and providing patient education and support. The Cardiology Technician must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A degree in cardiovascular technology or a related field is required, along with relevant certification and previous experience in a cardiology lab or clinic. Job Description

- Perform non-invasive diagnostic tests including EKGs and stress tests
- Assist physicians in cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterizations
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and ensure patient comfort
- Maintain and calibrate cardiology equipment to ensure accurate results
- Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle changes
- Document patient information and test results accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and safety protocols
- Attend regular training and professional development opportunities
- Stay current on advancements in cardiology technology and practices.
