The Collection Manager at our Leading NBFC will be responsible for overseeing the collection operations of the company, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding dues from customers. This role involves managing a team of collection agents, monitoring and analyzing collection performance, implementing strategies to improve collection efficiency, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The Collection Manager will work closely with the credit and risk management teams to develop and implement effective collection strategies while adhering to regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to motivate and lead a team to meet collection targets. A Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is required, with relevant experience in a similar role preferred.
Job Description

- Manage a team of collection agents to ensure timely recovery of overdue loans
- Set collection targets and closely monitor performance to meet KPIs
- Implement collection strategies to maximize recovery rates while maintaining customer relationships
- Analyze delinquency trends and propose proactive measures to prevent future late payments
- Collaborate with credit risk management team to assess credit worthiness of customers
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to loan collection
- Prepare reports on collection activities, progress, and impact on the company's bottom line
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to loan collection
- Conduct regular training sessions for collection agents to enhance their skills and performance
- Handle escalated customer complaints and provide timely resolution to maintain customer satisfaction.
